Be a game changer for yourself! Drones offer previously unimagined possibilities in the trades and construction industry. Look forward to potential savings in planning, monitoring and control.
Roofer
As a roofer, you have chosen a valuable profession. Unfortunately, you also have an extremely high occupational risk. Time and again we hear about accidents and serious falls - according to statistics, more than 10,000 per year. Let's work together for your safety! Drones have been on the market for more than a decade and are now very sophisticated. With such a drone, you can not only make your work safer, but also achieve higher profits!
You know the prices for a lifting platform or the use of a cherry picker. These high costs are no longer appropriate for preparing quotations and (final) inspections. You can get the Golf among drones for as little as €1,500 - an investment that is guaranteed to pay off both privately and commercially. If you would like a ready-to-fly package tailored to your specific requirements, you are welcome to take advantage of our roof survey package. We have already selected the right one for you from thousands of accessory options.
Apart from safety and cost-effectiveness, drones offer a third advantage - probably the most important one for you: drones are changing the job description! What does that mean? The shortage of skilled labour is omnipresent. Good trainees and employees are hard to come by. You need incentives for your employees - and who hasn't always wanted to pilot a drone? The skilled trades will continue to grow in importance. Good workers can choose your company. Investing in technology can be existential.
Ultimately, the decision is up to you. We are professionals in our field and see it as our task to ensure that you remain a professional in your field. Simply send us a non-binding enquiry. We will get back to you shortly.
Scaffolder
Drones are being used more and more when buildings need to be scaffolded. During the planning phase of scaffolding, detailed images of certain areas of the structure are very helpful. These images supplement existing plans and can provide the necessary information when positioning scaffolding. Historical buildings in particular often lack important drawings, which significantly increases the lead time. Elaborate crane technology or industrial climbers had to be used selectively until recently - drones provide a favourable remedy here!
The use of a drone can significantly reduce the lead time, simplify the work andcut costs. The drone flight is usually short and can be carried out by just one employee (e.g. of the scaffolding company). Planning is done in advance in the office. Drone software features such as "point of interest" simplify the work, as the flight and triggering of the camera run automatically, providing you with seamless images of the object to be scaffolded. Most drone models come with these software features as standard. Keep planning costs low with the help of a drone and use this alternative for your company! A by-product of full-coverage recording is the simultaneous preservation of evidence before the scaffolding is erected.
If you want to go one step further and create a 3D model of the building, digitising the façade has become much easier with drones. With a digital 3D model, you can plan the scaffolding on the computer and make an exact selection of the necessary components. No unnecessary travelling back and forth due to missing scaffolding components. Details on the procedure can be found in our Airclip Guide in the technical article Measuring with drones, but the right way.
