Description
The Cellular Dongle 2 can connect DJI drones to 4G networks. It provides stable high-speed connections and thus makes it possible to use several functions such as "Enhanced Transmission". That is, this dongle works in synergy with 4G networks in addition to the original video transmission to overcome obstacles or interference. If the signal of the original video transmission is impaired, the drone can still be controlled via a 4G connection, which significantly reduces the likelihood of the connection being interrupted. With the purchase of the Cellular Dongle 2, you receive a free annual subscription to the enhanced transmission service.
Notes
- An additional SIM card is required for operation. Data consumption is approx. 1GB per 30 minutes of flight time.
- Use of the service is free of charge from DJI for the first year. From the 2nd year, an additional €29 per year will be charged for use.
- When using "Enhanced Transmission", the drone should always be operated in areas where the 4G signal of the remote control or smartphone can be received almost completely. "Enhanced transmission" is based on a 4G network, which is why delays and stuttering may occur. Always fly carefully!
- DJI reserves the right to terminate the Enhanced Transmission service at any time in accordance with local laws and regulations. Termination of this service will not affect other connection functions of the Mobile Dongle 2.
- Due to privacy regulations and policies, the correct version of the Enhanced Transmission service must be purchased to suit your location. Two versions are available - one for mainland China and one for countries and regions outside mainland China.
