Fast charging for DJI drones
With the separately available charging cables, you can quickly charge selected DJI drone batteries with the super-fast DJI Power SDC charging function and get them in the air within about 30 minutes. With three drone batteries and this portable DJI Powerstation, you can enjoy a full day of carefree flying fun and creativity.

Two USB-C ports (max. 100 W)
Two 100W USB-C ports support both power input and output as well as the PD 3.0 fast charging protocol, enabling efficient input and output. Both ports can simultaneously charge the DJI Power 500 with a maximum of 200W or separately power devices such as cameras, phones and laptops with a maximum of 100W.

Multiple charging options
The DJI Power 500 can be charged in four ways: Mains power, USB-C, solar power and car battery. Whether indoors or on the go, you can flexibly choose the charging method that suits you best.

Mains power
Quickly and easily plug in, charge and go. When connected to mains power, the DJI Power 500 supports both 540W fast charging mode and 270W standard charging mode, with the fastest charging time being 70 minutes for 100% battery power. It can also be charged to 80 % in just 50 minutes.

Charging via USB-C
The DJI Power 500 can be charged via two 100 W USB-C ports with a total output of 200 W and is fully charged in around three hours.

Solar power
The DJI Power 500 can be connected to solar panels via the DJI Power Adapter Module for Solar Panel (MPPT) or the DJI Power car socket for SDC power cables and charged with environmentally friendly solar power. MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) is an intelligent algorithm that supports real-time monitoring of the voltage generated by connected solar panels. By tracking and maintaining the highest voltage and current values (V-I), the algorithm enables the solar panels to charge the DJI Power 500 in an optimal and efficient way.

Solar panels of the DJI certified brand Zignes are recommended. The DJI Power 500 supports a maximum solar power of 300 W and can be fully charged with solar energy in approximately 1.8 to 4 hours.

Vehicle battery
Easy charging on every journey. With the DJI Power car socket for SDC power cable (12 V/24 V), the DJI Power 500 can be fully charged via a car charger in just six hours.

Comprehensive safety concept, safe and reliable power usage

Safe and reliable, for indoors and outdoors
Safety always comes first. From the housing structure and cell chemistry to the system software, the DJI Power 500 has a comprehensive safety concept. It has passed 26 product tests by the Swiss testing centre SGS and thus guarantees safe electrical use.

Intelligent battery management system
If the safety limit value for power consumption is exceeded, the protection mechanism for the power supply and charging is automatically activated. As soon as the power supply returns to normal, the DJI Power 500 resumes operation.

LFP cell
The LFP cell is safe and durable and can reach up to 3000 cycles, which is equivalent to a lifetime of about 10 years even with frequent use.

Certification by SGS Switzerland
Thanks to its comprehensive safety concept, the DJI Power 500 has received 26 product test certifications from SGS Switzerland, including 2 product test verifications, 4 mechanical performance tests, 9 electrical performance tests, 3 environmental resistance tests, 5 noise level tests and 3 intelligent and efficient DC power supply and charging tests.

11 temperature sensors
11 temperature sensors on the device continuously monitor heat dissipation and the power station functions normally even at temperatures of up to 40 °C.

Power failure protection
Ten fuses distributed across the Powerstation provide short-circuit protection for each module. The DJI Power 500 reacts quickly and safely even in the event of a power circuit failure.

UPS mode, trouble-free power continuity
When an electrical device is connected to a switched-on DJI Power 500 via the AC output and both are supplied with mains power, the DJI Power 500 switches to UPS mode (uninterruptible power supply). In the event of a sudden power failure, the DJI Power 500 can supply power to the connected device (or devices) within 0.02 seconds, ensuring uninterrupted operation.

Extremely quiet operation
The DJI Power 500's noise level during charging is only 25 dB, which is lower than most household refrigerators, so there is no noise pollution even in quiet environments.
