Maintenance of drones

Airclip recommends that every drone system is serviced at regular intervals and that inspections and maintenance work are taken seriously. In addition to a simple visual inspection, known weak points of the individual systems in particular are scrutinised to prevent crashes. In many industries, it is common or even mandatory to only use properly inspected equipment. The maintenance intervals always depend on the aircraft and the intensity of use.

We recommend a basic check after the first 6 months and then annual maintenance with the following content:

  • Visual inspection of the entire system
  • Functional check in flight
  • Readout of the log file to detect possible malfunctions
  • Condition of the batteries (rechargeable batteries) of the drone and remote control
  • Determination of the internal resistance and number of cycles of the batteries
  • Update of all components
  • Test flights according to a special scheme (checking the functionality of all sensors)
  • Attachment of test sticker

We will then send the system back to you or you can collect it from Airclip in person. Of course, you will receive a test report with the results of the inspection from us. The first service is free of charge for Airclip customers!
