Precision

Precision is the random error of a measurement.

Example: In photogrammetry with drones, we can reliably take measurements and volumes from a precise model.

Accuracy is the systematic error of a measurement.

Example: In photogrammetry with drones, we can reliably extract dimensions, volumes and coordinates from a correct model.

Precision and accuracy together result in accuracy.
